About TimTalks

Tim is a lifelong “Car Guy”. Back in 1989, he started working at Jake Sweeney Hyundai in Kentucky and moved his way “up” in the business. Tim has been offered so many dealership positions, opportunities, experiences and sat in just about every seat in the dealership. Because this business has been so good to Tim and his family, he wanted to give back to this community. This is how TIMTALKS came to life: “I wanted to help today’s Automotive Dealerships get better – do better – be better.”

Tim’s goal through TIMTALKS is to chat with the best minds in the car business, and share as much usable and practical information possible to help dealers achieve their goals in increasing profits, customer service / loyalty, and overall employee retention. No matter your store or your relationship with CarNow, everyone is welcome at TIMTALKS.

About Tim

Tim Cox is co-founder and senior vice president of sales for CarNow, one of fastest growing companies in the automotive space and the fastest growing and most awarded company in the digital retailing space. Tim has led the sales team at CarNow to meteoric growth amassing over 4,000 dealer customer roof tops since they signed on their first dealer in December of 2014. Tim started his career in the car business at age 17 and has since held virtually every position at a dealership. His last position was as Sales Manager at Hennessey Lexus in Gwinnett, Georgia where he led that team to record CPO sales for many years and held the title of Lexus “Top CPO Sales” in three states. Tim is most proud of the team at CarNow and the exemplary service that has earned them a record number of industry awards. Tim resides in Atlanta, Georgia with his wife – Angie, and their two children – Ally and Kyle. He also has two dogs – Scout and Tucker.
