CarNow is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually updating our site to improve the user experience for everyone.

Measures to support accessibility

CarNow ensures accessibility of digital properties to everyone by:

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three increasing levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. The WCAG does not recommend Level AAA as a general policy because it is not possible to satisfy all Level AAA success criteria for some content.  CarNow is materially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA and anticipates attaining full compliance soon.

Assessment approach

Accessibility experts from ADASure assessed CarNow’s website, and will continue monitoring the site on a regular basis. This monitoring includes manual testing and the use of assistive technology, such as screen readers, to ensure that the site remains accessible.  Feedback from users with accessibility questions or barriers will be reviewed regularly. This information, which includes any questions or feedback submitted to our customer service department email address or called in, will be used to make our website as usable and accessible as possible.
