About the Role
As an Engineering Manager for the Platform Team, you will play a critical role in scaling our engineering
foundations, optimizing developer productivity, and driving platform reliability. You will lead a team of talented
engineers focused on infrastructure, internal tooling, CI/CD, observability, and overall platform stability.
This role requires a balance of technical depth, leadership skills, and strategic thinking to ensure our platform
supports the company’s growth and innovation.
What You’ll Do
Lead & Develop the Platform Team
- Manage, mentor, and grow a team of platform engineers.
- Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure the team follows best practices in infrastructure, automation, and reliability engineering.
Drive Platform & Infrastructure Excellence
- Own the architecture, performance, and security of core platform services.
- Oversee CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and developer tooling to enhance productivity.
- Champion DevOps, SRE, and automation practices to improve operational efficiency.
Technical & Strategic Leadership
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure scalability and reliability across services.
- Establish SLAs, monitoring, and observability strategies to minimize downtime.
- Keep up with industry trends to evaluate and implement modern technologies when necessary.
Cross-Team Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with product teams, security engineers, and leadership to align platform goals with business needs.
- Communicate trade-offs and technical roadmaps to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of engineering experience, with 2+ years leading teams.
- Background in backend or infrastructure engineering (e.g., AWS/GCP).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, observability tools, and developer experience improvements.
- Familiarity with scalable system design, microservices, and cloud-native architectures.
- A passion for mentorship, people management, and team development.
- Ability to balance technical depth and business impact.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
