Account Manager – Southern California/Arizona
The Account Manager plays a pivotal part in our retention strategy by engaging with automotive dealers, and training and supporting CarNow’s solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for not only achieving monthly retention goals but also be a technical expert on our products, with a focus on customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with dealers within the assigned region
- Drive retention and growth among our customers by networking and building relationships within your territory
- Present and demonstrate CarNow’s solutions to current clients
- Assist with onboarding and delivery of impact of CarNow solutions
- Be a technical product expert to ensure expectations are met during the onboarding and activation process with dealers
- Achieve and exceed monthly retention goals by ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Collaborate with internal teams to address customer needs and provide solutions
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitors to enhance retention efforts
- Utilize CRM tools to track and manage dealership relationships and activities
- Maintain product knowledge to be an effective consultant/advisor
Requirements:
- 2+ years in automotive industry, with a focus on digital solutions preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Strong understanding of chat and digital retailing technologies
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Results-oriented with a focus on meeting and exceeding retention goals
- Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time within Southern California/Arizona region
- Familiarity with CRM tools for effective account management
- Technologically savvy and computer proficient
- Establish and maintain customer confidence and provide exceptional customer service
